[ Trigami Review ]
Today's review is for me a little balancing act. There's a really successful product of Fuji film, I like that in the age very well. But on the other hand, a very rocky road led to success. A field report, or almost a disease report.
The order process begins with a sign-Marathon, for the Fujifilm although only indirectly can something but you have to wonder why Fuji strikes not easier ways. Namely to create a mosaic image is needed to find a registration at Fuji also a Flickr account and have the same application Allow mosaikr. This will by the way access to personal data and is a right of exploitation on images created what one can only read in the mandatory terms to be accepted, the experience shows ever reads anyway none. I wonder what the need, I just want a mosaic picture!
can think of the way, also register with a Google account at Flickr, with (part of the Flickr) Yahoo thereafter became involved and demanded access to personal information. Although I am a user name goggiblog "choose, I will kindly be wrong with" Hello user 182a486f8a26c785fd80653f6d4e31ac "welcomed. Since I have been assigned a password, I have to assume that Yahoo uses the same password as google. Or Fuji? I'm confused. A few more clicks I get the user name to "goggiblog" to correct and learn more in the security settings that viewing my photos default to "open to everyone," is set. Also I change. Incidentally, I am now a member of the Yahoo network become what allows me to interact with other users and to chat ... I just want a mosaic picture!
My skepticism is growing, but at least I can finally order my picture. I choose the first Master Blid from, so the image which should result in the many other small images as a whole. My choice is a picture of the Matterhorn. In the second step, the small images are selected, ie, the mosaic tiles. With the newly established free Flickr account but I can upload a maximum of 300 MB of images per calendar month up - these are images from a Canon EOS40D with just 86 photos. In about one hour, the images are uploaded to the Flickr album. Here I find an option to happiness "Private", so I hope good cheer, the pictures end up not "open to anyone on the Internet, as it is threatened in the standard settings.

looks with little pictures or large stones the image already in the preview look bad. 500 images and maximum number of mosaic pieces are a must! |
Because I am not willing to spend money on an online album, I create a new Flickr account and scale up the original files and upload more pictures. Which in turn lasts. Elapsed time so far: 3.5 hours. And now comes the next stumbling block: Flickr refuses the free account for more than 200 pictures to save.
Back to mosaikr, "middle" as the mosaic size, select 200 small images as a mosaic and ... the picture still looks bad, images are shown up to 20 times next to each other. Terrible.

The original with 560 different images. Distributed to over 2600 Feldchen the whole thing but pretty good. |
Conclusion: The product FujiFilm poster shop is great. The ordering process a mere suggestion. The product is rather expensive because of the Flickr account for a higher price-reasonable-mosaic image is not enough a free account. Also seems half the world now have access to my pictures and my data.
